Performance Improvement of Data Secure Access Using Wireless Light Fidelity

In the digital age, securing data transmission has become paramount, necessitating innovative solutions like Visible Light Communication (VLC). VLC, utilizing white Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs), represents an advanced technology with the potential for integration into conventional communication systems. LEDs offer numerous benefits, including extended longevity. However, as with many emerging technologies, VLC faces technical challenges that necessitate resolution. This study proposes an optical wireless communication system tailored for indoor environments, designed to operate seamlessly with standard plug-in white LEDs. This initiative led to the development of a practical VLC prototype, facilitating an experimental demonstration. Specifically, the proposed research efforts were directed towards developing a VLC prototype compatible with two distinct data transmission protocols-USB and RS-232-without necessitating substantial alterations to existing infrastructure.
