Leader-Following Consensus for Discrete-Time Multiagent Systems With Nonidentical Channel Fading

In this article, mean-square leader-following consensus for multiagent systems is considered. In particular, nonidentical channel fading is involved in the systems which makes the consensus problem much more difficult. To overcome the difficulty, a novel distributed consensus protocol is proposed containing the relative measurement information and a feedforward controller. By applying a parameterized Riccati inequality and defining a Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for the leader-following consensusability are derived. Moreover, both sufficient and necessary conditions are obtained for the scalar multiagent systems. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to show the correctness of the proposed results.
