Research on UAV Cooperative Maritime Situational Awareness Task Planning Based on Improved Markov Process

The strong maneuverability and high positioning accuracy of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) make them advantageous for reconnaissance. Therefore, the research and development of UAV-borne radar reconnaissance systems with maritime situational awareness capabilities are of great practical significance. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for task planning of collaborative maritime situational awareness based on improved Markov processes using the optimal search theory. Through quantitative analysis using mathematical models and qualitative analysis combined with actual considerations of target motion patterns and UAV collaboration, we design a maximum discovery probability search model to obtain optimal route planning results under different constraint conditions. The rationality of this method is verified through simulation, providing theoretical support for multi-UAV search for uncertain targets.
