Data analysis and application of the naive Bayesian method in colleges and universities

With the development of technology, artificial intelligence and big data have begun to popularize and apply in various fields. To improve the application of data mining in universities, we conducted data analysis on the college entrance examination math scores and university math scores of students from a certain university. We used the Naive Bayes algorithm to model and predict the student data, and ultimately achieved an accuracy rate of over 70%. The results showed that the prediction of university math scores made by Naive Bayes was basically consistent with the actual scores. Through data analysis, we can see that most of the students’ math scores are above 70 points. At the same time, we also analyzed the relationship between gender and performance. The prediction results of this method can be used as a reference for universities and help improve the quality of teaching.
