A network architecture for 5G and 6G satellites integrated ProSe

With the rapid advancement of global satellite communications, the convergence of terrestrial and satellite systems is gaining prominence. We introduce a novel satellite network architecture integrating Proximity-based Services (ProSe), outlining various network communication processes that shed light on the enhancement of Quality of Service (QoS) in U2N relay for satellite access and the intricate mobility management of relay and remote UEs across varying network domains. These developments not only aim to enhance connectivity and reliability in remote regions but also support crucial applications such as emergency rescue. They enable terminals to access satellite networks based on ProSe, thereby significantly improving the user experience.
