High Step-up Quadratic Converter With ZVS Operation and Continuous Input Current

This paper proposed a high step-up converter based on the quadratic structure with soft switching operation. In this converter, high voltage gain is obtained by the coupled inductors which also, can control the switch voltage stress. A ZVT circuit provides ZVZCS condition at turn-on for the main switch and absorbs the leakage inductance energy. Also, ZCS switching condition is established for the auxiliary switch moreover, due to most diodes ZCS turn-off, the reverse recovery problem is reduced. In this converter, the input voltage source and load have a common ground furthermore, the converter benefits from continuous input current. In this paper, the presented converter is analyzed completely and simulated at 200 W output power which 96.8% efficiency shows the converter high quality.
