Three-Phase Steady-State Models of Converter-Interfaced Distributed Generators with Different Control Strategies

This study proposes three-phase steady-state models for converter-interfaced distributed generators (DGs) employing various negative control strategies. By utilizing an augmented rectangular load flow method, the study formulates nodal voltage equations and output power equations for three-phase distribution systems. Additionally, under unbalanced conditions, the study develops strategies to mitigate the impact of negative sequence components as functions of nodal voltage and injected current. The proposed models are integrated into the augmented rectangular load flow method, with nodal voltage and injected current serving as state variables in three-phase systems. The study's accuracy is validated through case studies by comparing results obtained using MATLAB and PSCAD.
