An Advanced Integration Strategy for a DSWIG BasedWES and DSPVS in a Typical Microgrid Network

Dual stator winding induction generator (DSWIG) based wind energy system (WES) and distributed solar photovoltaic system (DSPVS) are the typical renewable selections for the distant microgrid application in most cases. DSWIG is undoubtedly a superior choice for the wind energy conversion as it allows to control the voltage and frequency more substantially, even in the absence of power electronic interfaces. Energy derived from the solar is exceptional and whereas the remarkable confines are stated in the research especially for the standalone networks. Essentially, the reliability of the power networks certainly lies in the renewable integration via microgrid structures. The periodic breaks witnessed in this intermittent sources are streamlined vitally through the integration strategy which may results in the stabilized and regulated power outputs. Hence this research justifies the discussion by practicing the novel method of integrating the renewable sources based on the appropriate choice of the system design and control elements. Results are simulated via PSCAD/EMTDC platform to validate.
