Local Fuzzy-Basis-Dependent Stabilization of Interval Type-2 T–S Fuzzy Systems via an Improved Adaptive Memory-Based Event-Triggered Mechanism

This article focuses on addressing the local stabilization and disturbance attenuation problems arising in the interval type-2 Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy control system within a limited operating region, by introducing an improved adaptive memory-based event-triggered mechanism. In contrast to recent works, the proposed method eliminates the necessity for the previous iterative process used to address the mismatch problem between crisp function (CF)-based Lyapunov matrices and CF-based controllers. In addition, in the relaxation of parameterized linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), our approach no longer requires assumptions regarding the deviation between fuzzy basis functions and CFs. Moreover, by integrating an additional adaptive threshold into the internal buffer of AMETM, an effective method is devised to improve system responses and maintain low packet transmission rates without the need to recalculate the LMI conditions. Finally, the results of this study are demonstrated in two illustrative examples.
