Countering the Negative Impact of Internet Technologies in Higher Education on the Example of Child Trafficking: Legal Dimension

In the context of digitalization, the problem of the negative impact of Internet technologies in higher education is becoming more acute. Technologies of influence on the Internet can have certain negative consequences for students, both for applicants and students. It is at the junction of childhood and adulthood (16–18 years old) that students are most vulnerable and suggestible, which is why they are drawn into criminal organizations for the purpose of human trafficking. Not only students, but also teachers who can take advanced training courses for teachers in both the humanities and technical disciplines should be proficient in technologies to counter negative influences in the Internet environment. The study examines the legal dimension of this problem, reveals the levels of counteraction, and describes strategies to counter the negative impact of Internet technologies.
