Adaptive Computer Testing as a Means of Improving the Quality of Education for Engineering Students

A model for the implementation of adaptability based on the use of the capabilities of a computing system is proposed with the aim of a more complete implementation of an individual approach in computer learning. The features of the presentation of educational content and the structuring of test materials are considered. The level of concretization of the survey, which is usually built in a modular form, differs in the depth of the survey, highlighting the 1, 2 and 3 level testing, and in the number of test tasks groups. Also, an adaptive algorithm for individual testing of student's educational achievements is considered, considering the essential characteristics of the computer process of checking knowledge and allowing it to be widely implemented in distance learning systems.
