An Overview of the Problems and Features of Modeling Modern Rating Systems in International Research

This article provides an overview of international-level research on the study, modeling and structural modernization of rating systems. The main topical problems that independent researchers have repeatedly encountered, as well as examples of popular vulnerabilities of existing systems, are highlighted. The proposed ways of solving the identified problems, the unique features of approaches to the study of this topic, as well as non-standard structural solutions in the development of models are studied. The important features of the development of rating structures from different fields are considered, the nuances of working with social rating are noted, the relevance of using a multidisciplinary approach is highlighted. Approaches to the selection of key parameters in the development of complex models are investigated, and the need to use complex multicriteria models in the structure of rating systems is confirmed by examples. The prospects of using Petri nets in modeling a rating system are considered. The promising direction of further development of rating systems has been revealed.
