Research on Intelligent Collection Vehicle for Medical Waste Based on Image Analysis

In recent years, the rapid growth of medical waste and the high infection rate in the medical and health environment have posed more severe challenges to the medical waste management system. Under this background, this study designs and implements an intelligent collection vehicle based on image analysis technology. This design is equipped with high-resolution cameras and advanced image recognition algorithms, which can identify and classify medical waste in real time, such as syringes, pills, masks, cotton swabs, etc. Using deep learning technology, it can independently identify the type of medical waste, provide preliminary classification information for staff, and then uniformly transport medical waste to relevant sites through the movable equipment for subsequent unified treatment. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional methods, the design improves the collection efficiency and accuracy, and provides a feasible and sustainable solution for the medical waste management system. This technological innovation will play an important role in the management of medical waste, providing effective support for public health and environmental protection.
