Leveraging Intermediate Languages: Current Applications

The impacts of leveraging intermediate language representations outside of the standard compilation process is an area of interest. This work contributes the following: gathering a corpus of research related to intermediate language representations, an automated analysis of corpus content to cluster similar intermediate language representation use cases, a manual analysis of each cluster to provide deeper understanding of corpus content, and the identification of research gaps that could be the springboard for future research.
