Empowering College English Education Using Computer-Assisted Language Learning Techniques

Although student engagement and motivation have improved, obstacles such as access barriers and technical problems remain. Thus, the empowering impact of college English education using Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) techniques was explored. The issue of traditional teaching methods was solved, and it was shown how technological tools can solve them in this study. The study results showed the widespread practice of using learning technologies such as language platforms and language learning apps in college English classes. The importance of professional development for teachers, equitable access to technology, and purposeful pedagogical integration of CALL techniques was emphasized. The availability and effectiveness of these solutions to improve language learning outcomes make education more inclusive. By adopting these recommendations, college English education can meet the needs of students to become proficient in language and digital literacy in the interconnected world.
