Control Scheme for Input-Series Half-Bridge LC Resonant Converter

An input-series half-bridge LC resonant converter with full-range output voltage regulation control scheme is proposed in this research paper. By using the proposed control scheme, all diodes of the proposed converter can achieve zero-current switching operation and all switches can realize zero-voltage switching operation, which reduces the switching losses at the turning-off state of the diodes and the turning-on state of the switches. Moreover, the switches of the proposed converter endure the same and low voltage stresses. The working principle and the performance of the proposed converter are analyzed and demonstrated with the simulation results.
