Research on Arc Fault Analysis and Grid Connection Strategy of Photovoltaic Modules

This paper centers on the analysis of arc faults in photovoltaic systems and grid-connected control strategies. Mayr and Cassie arc models are built to analyze the simulation characteristics of arc fault in the system. The design of fault detection sampling circuit is discussed to monitor the arc fault in real time. For the grid-connected control strategy of the PV system, the study is based on maximum power point tracking, PWM control, filter circuit parameter design and power PI control. The effectiveness and stability of the proposed grid-connected control strategy is also verified through experiments. This proves its practicality in PV systems. The arc fault protection and grid-connected control strategy proposed in this paper provides important technical support for the safe and stable operation of PV systems.
