Power System Inertia Estimation Based on BJ Parameter Identification Method and PEM Iterative Algorithm

Modern power system access to a large number of new energy generation devices and power electronic components, accurate estimation of power system inertia is the key point to maintain stable operation of the power system frequency, previous research and more attention to the new inertia identification model, did not analyze the optimal identification model. Based on this problem, this paper firstly establishes the modeling of the power system inertia response, with the power variation of generator bus node as the input and the frequency variation as the output. A parameter identification model is established with the BJ model to estimate the inertia of each unit. Secondly, the transfer function estimation model with PEM iterative algorithm is established based on data matching at the initial stage of data. Finally, a 10-generator 39-node simulation system is designed to verify the accuracy and reliability of the identification model with large and small load disturbances. Provide reference for inertial system parameter identification.
