Development of an Intelligent Control Machine for Power Tunnel Operations in Confined Spaces

Considering the challenges associated with complex operational procedures, diverse equipment requirements, lengthy preparation and layout time within confined spaces of cable engineering projects, this study conducts research on an intelligent control machine for limited space operations in power tunnels. The control machine comprises monitoring platforms, blowers, gas detectors, air ducts, control systems and other modules. It enables real-time data collection of gas content and ventilation capacity in restricted areas to facilitate intelligent monitoring of environmental information within these spaces. Consequently, it enhances on-site construction efficiency while ensuring the safety of limited space operations.
