Two-layer planning model of user side power distribution system based on C-vine Copula

As the proportion of renewable energy increases steadily, the demand for wind and photovoltaic (PV) applications also increases. Therefore, a two-layer programming model is proposed for the uncertainty of wind, PV output and user load. Firstly, the correlation model between the three is established by using the Copula function of C-vine. Then, energy storage planning is carried out in a comprehensive scenario, and a two-layer programming model is adopted. The upper layer model takes the minimum total cost during normal operation of the user-side distribution line as the optimization objective, and the lower layer takes the minimum load cutting of the user as the optimization objective. When the scene dimension is too high, an improved iterative self-organizing data analysis algorithm is used to weaken the scene. The simulation results show that the two-layer programming model increases the total energy storage capacity of the user's distribution system by 8.8%, the total charge and discharge power by 15.8%, and the expected load loss in the fault scenario is reduced by 1277.5kW. Moreover, user investment costs increased by 2.0%, operating costs decreased by 3.3%, and total costs increased by 1.4%. This model can provide some reference for improving the reliability of distribution system for distribution users.
