Optimal Configuration of Active Distribution Network Considering Electric Heating Load and DG Synergy

Distributed generation (DG) and electric energy substitution measures represented by "electric heating (EH)" are important measures to solve the current environmental problems, but the large-scale disorderly access of DG and electric heating load will have an adverse impact on the power quality of distribution network. In this paper, an optimal configuration method considering the synergistic effect of DG and electric heating load is proposed for active distribution network. Firstly, the impact of DG and EH access on the distribution network is analyzed. Then, an optimal configuration model considering the synergy of DG and EH is established. Finally, it is verified by a modified IEEE33 node example. The results show that the method can effectively improve the power quality of active distribution network.
