Research on the Early Warning and Identification Method of Composite Electric Field for Cross-Crossing of Transmission Lines

The near line warning electric field sensor is widely used in wearable devices at power operation sites. The existing electric field sensors usually use the method of setting the electric field alarm threshold for warning. This method works well for single electric field scenarios, but when operators enter complex overlapping electric field environments such as cross-crossing, the synthesized electric field value may exceed the alarm threshold at a safe distance from the line, leading to an expanded alarm range and false alarms. This greatly reduces the applicability of electric field warning sensors. In this paper, the finite element method is used to analyze the characteristics of the synthesized electric field during cross-crossing, and a warning judgment method based on the combination of electric field change slope and threshold is proposed. Simulation verification shows that this method has little change in warning height between cross-over and single electric field scenarios, and the introduction of the electric field slope criterion achieves effective warning in the case of synthesized electric field during cross-crossing.
