Optimal Configuration of Energy Storage in Distribution Networks Based on Full Life Levelized Cost of Electricity

Reasonable configuration of energy storage can solve the current problems of PV grid integration and consumption. In order to improve the utilization efficiency of energy storage and enhance the economic benefits of grid users, this paper proposes an optimal allocation method of energy storage in distribution networks based on whole-life degree cost of electricity, which first establishes a whole-life cycle cost model and an energy storage benefit model. Then a multi-objective optimization model with the goal of reducing the cost of levelized cost of electricity is proposed through the levelized cost of electricity model. Finally, the model is solved by a combination of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing, and through the analysis of the improved IEEE-33 node arithmetic example, it is verified that this energy storage optimal allocation method is economical, while improving the rate of PV consumption, and providing an effective planning scheme for the distribution network.
