A New Method for Complex Soil Parameters Inversion of Substation Based on Lévy Flight Search

Research of soil structure characteristics is an important step in designing grounding system of substation. In order to estimate the parameters of soil structure, a horizontal multi-layer soil parameter estimation method based on Lévy flight Particle Swarm Optimization (LPSO) algorithm is proposed, which can realize more accurate estimation of optimal soil parameters. Firstly, the measurement model of soil apparent resistivity is established based on Wenner four-electrode method. Then, the relative root-mean-square error function between the measured value and the calculated value of soil apparent resistivity is taken as the optimization objective, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm combined with Lévy flight is used to obtain multi-layer soil parameters. The performance of LPSO algorithm is tested and analyzed. Finally, the experimental results show that LPSO algorithm can achieve higher estimation accuracy, which is of great significance to the design and performance evaluation of grounding system in substation.
