Increasing Scalability, Data Management, and Processing for Internet of Things Applications in Cloud-based IoT

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of interconnected computing devices operating in a decentralized and always- evolving system. Many widely dispersed, diverse, and small items with limited storage, energy, and computing capacities make up the Internet of items. These constraints pose difficult problems, such as interoperability, scalability, performance, and availability, that hinder the development of IoT applications. One interesting solution that can be combined with IoT to get over these restrictions is cloud computing. The cloud is a common infrastructure that allows the centralization of many functions (network, storage, computation, and software) and virtualization. This research study introduces a cloud-based IoT platform and discusses about its features, such as data storage, computing power, and connectivity. When it comes to collecting, transmitting, analyzing, processing, and storing the data, this platform can make use of the infrastructure and services provided by the cloud. This study also voices out for the organizations that adopted cloud-based IoT technology.
