An Evaluation of AES Encryption Modes on Data Transmission Performance in Distributed Systems

In this study, we investigate the impact of different modes of the AES encryption algorithm on data transmission performance in distributed systems. Various AES encryption modes and key lengths are compared in terms of data transmission performance to ensure secure data transmission in distributed systems. A data confidentiality solution was developed based on the preferred AES encryption mode and key length according to performance and security requirements. In the presented case study, the developed data privacy solution is observed to have a significant impact on data transmission performance and meet security requirements effectively.
