Arbitration Electronic Contract Scheme Based on Blind Signature

In order to establish secure and reliable electronic contracts between mutually distrustful parties on the Internet, a blind signature-based arbitration electronic contract scheme is proposed. The contracting parties first establish a shared key using an improved Diffie-Hellman protocol. Then both parties en-crypt the contract using the shared key, which cannot be analyzed or cracked. Finally, each party blinds the contract and submits it to a third-party arbitration institution. After verifying the consistency of the submitted contracts, the arbitration institution applies blind signatures to the blinded contracts and distributes them to the two parties. In case of disputes, the signed contract can be submitted to the arbitration institution for resolution. This scheme ensures the establishment of secure and reliable electronic contracts between mutually distrustful users and provides fast third-party authoritative rulings in case of contract disputes. Furthermore, neither the arbitration institution nor any other third party can access the content of the contract. So this scheme can protect user's privacy effectively.
