Outdoor VOCs’ Concentration Monitoring Due to Traffic Emission

In this study, the measurement of outdoor pollution within the campus of the Faculty of Building Services of Bucharest was conducted. The values of the pollutants examined are approaching the maximum permissible limits, which may pose health problems. The level of pollution was compared based on existing climatic data, during rainy days and sunny days. The measurements were carried out using the mobile laboratory of the Faculty of Building Services of Bucharest, which can determine the level of pollution for the following compounds: CO, particles (PM
10
and PM
2.5
), $\mathrm{O}_{3}, \mathrm{SO}_{2}, \mathrm{NO}_{2}, \mathrm{NO}, \mathrm{CO}$, and VOCs (benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene, compounds referred to as BTEX). The mobile laboratory is a new type of monitoring device and is able to measure independently anywhere having also an energy generator.
