Distributed Event-Triggered Reactive Power Control for Islanded AC Microgrids with Quantization Information

Aiming at reactive power sharing in islanded AC microgrid, this paper proposes a distributed secondary control strategy based on quantization transmission method and event-triggered communication. In this strategy, each distributed generator communicates with neighbors only when the triggering condition is met. At the same time, the transmission data is compressed by a uniform quantizer for the reduction of the amount of transmission data. Thus, the communication burden of the system is significantly reduced. Finally, the proposed control strategy is verified by simulation experiments.
