Synthesis of Delay/Disordering Attacks for Cyber-Physical Systems

In the supervisory control layer of cyber-physical systems, attackers may introduce delays and disorder into the communication channel used for transmitting commands between the supervisor and the controlled system, thereby disrupting the order of command events. Building on this premise, this paper puts forth delay attack strategies and disordering attack strategies within a game-like command attack structure. Furthermore, we delineate the covert and race-free conditions that attackers must comply with. We discover that delay attacks can result in disordering effects, and then we also provide the necessary conditions for converting disordering attacks into delay attacks. Finally, we have obtained delay attackers and disordering attackers.
