Low Carbon Economic Dispatch of Combined Wind-Photovoltaic-CSP-Fire System Considering Demand Response

By introducing demand response and carbon trading mechanisms, load-side resources can be optimized, linking power generation and consumption to achieve synergistic optimal scheduling in a multi-source joint system. This ensures "peak shaving and valley filling" on the load side while satisfying users’ electricity needs, reducing the regulatory pressure on generation units, and improving the overall economic efficiency of system operations. Carbon trading increases the output costs for traditional thermal power units, enhancing the competitive advantage of wind, photovoltaic, and solar thermal power generation in optimal system scheduling and reducing system CO2 emissions. Considering both demand response and carbon trading costs, a low-carbon economic dispatch model is developed for a wind-photovoltaic-CSP-thermal combined system. This model aims to enhance system operation economy and reduce CO2 emissions. The effectiveness of this proposed model is verified and analyzed through simulations, demonstrating its potential in improving system efficiency and lowering emissions.
