Distributed Extended State Observer-based Control for DC Microgrids With Cyber Attacks

This paper addresses the stability of islanded DC microgrids under false data injection (FDI) attacks. A distributed resilient control method based on distributed extended state observer (DESO) is proposed to achieve the control objectives of current sharing and voltage balance in DC microgrids. The designed control strategy reconstructs the attack values based on the residuals between the observed state of the DESO and the actual output state, which offsets the effect of FDI attacks. The DESO-based control method does not require the location or information of FDI attacks. Finally, simulation results of DC microgrids with four distributed generation units (DGUs) are given in this paper to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
