ProCAST-based valve body casting process design

Valve body castings are widely used in power plants, mainly used to control the opening and closing of pipeline fluid, flow direction, flow, pressure, and temperature. This paper maies ProCAST software to analyze the finite element of the valve body, and then determine the optimal casting scheme. The process parameters of the casting system and shrinkage system are simulated and calculated. Realizing the casting instead of the forginnly usg process, the actual production has a guiding role in helping.
