Rate bumpless transfer control for a class of switched descriptor systems

This brief studies stability and the rate bumpless transfer (BT) performance for switched descriptor systems (S-DSs) under a dynamics decomposition form at same time. At the switching moments, the rate of state will bump and this unexpected large bump may break the system. In order to restrain the amplitude of the rate bump, we give a definition of rate BT performance for SDSs. In addition, a sufficient condition is proposed for SDSs while ensuring the rate BT performance and stability according to the multiple Lyapunov functions theory. Furthermore, we jointly design the rate BT controller and the state-dependent switching signal. In this end, we give a numerical example to substantiate the superiority and eptitude of the put forward scheme.
