Design and Implementation of an English Teaching Corpus Management System Based on C/S Environment

With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional classroom teaching mode can no longer meet the learning needs of students, and the application of Internet and computer technology has become an important way to improve the teaching effect. Traditional English teaching corpus can’t be updated in time, and it is difficult to keep up with the ever-changing modern language changes and popular topics. As a result, students may not be able to obtain the latest and true language materials, which makes their language expression ability not match the real scene. The traditional corpus teaching method is relatively traditional, lacking diversity and interaction, and can not effectively cultivate students’ language application ability and communication ability. In order to meet the needs of students for English learning, educational institutions and schools have introduced English teaching corpora in C/S environment to provide more convenient and efficient learning methods. This paper proposes an English teaching corpus management system based on C/S environment, through which students can access the corpus anytime and anywhere to obtain the required learning materials and resources. Experiments show that the English teaching corpus management system based on C/S environment can enrich the teaching content, provide diversified learning resources and help students improve their English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
