An Integrated Power-Distance Model Based on Power Distribution and Fatigue Recovery

This paper studies the energy distribution in bicycle race. Firstly, the power distance model suitable for all kinds of passengers is established by combining the power time model with the power speed model. Second, we need to describe power curves to reflect the cycling abilities of sprinters and timing experts. The four indexes of power curve are displayed by radar chart, and it is concluded that the output power of sprinters is better when 5S and above, but worse when 1min and above. Finally, a muscle fatigue - recovery model was mixed to reflect the influence and sensitivity of riders who did not follow a power allocation scheme.
