Active Disturbance Rejection Constant Current Control for Dynamic Wireless Charging of Electric Vehicles

Dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) can provide energy supply for electric vehicles, which helps to alleviate mileage anxiety and save charging time. In order to solve the problem that the output current and voltage deviate from the target value due to the influence of external or self-parameter disturbances during the driving process of the vehicle, and how to respond quickly and accurately to the disturbance situation, this paper takes the LCC-S magnetically coupled resonant DWPT system as an example. A constant current control method combining Boost circuit and active disturbance rejection control is proposed. Firstly, the relationship between the output characteristics of LCC-S resonant network and system parameters is analyzed by circuit. Secondly, in order to achieve precise control of the system output, the state equation model of the secondary Boost converter is established, and the ADRC controller is designed according to the model. Finally, a wireless charging simulation model based on ADRC is built, and the control effects of ADRC controller and PID controller are compared under parameter disturbance. The results show that ADRC controller shows better dynamic adjustment ability.
