Analysis and Design of Both CC and CV Dual Outputs WPT System Based on LCC-S/LCC Compensation

Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology is widely used in unmanned intelligent scenarios such as automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), which provides high flexibility contactless power transmission. In this paper, a dual outputs WPT system based on the LCC-S/LCC compensation is proposed. The system is able to provide both constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) to the one or multiple loads. The CC and CV output channels are independent between each other, despite the light or heavy loading conditions for the different outputs. For the dual outputs system, this system only requires one pair of coupling coils, which potentially improves the power density of the system. The system parameters are designed on the basis of theoretical analysis. When the load RBl varies from 3 Ω to 30 Ω, and the load RB2 varies from 10 Ω to 100 Ω. The output current and output voltage of the system are stabilized around 2.8A and 38V, respectively. Simulation results verify the feasibility of the system.
