An Algorithm of Supply and Demand Coordination for Flexible Load Assessment

By tapping the demand side adjustable load resources, including industrial, commercial, residential, and power equipment in the new load field, the peak shaving characteristics and peak shaving potential of the adjustable load are analyzed, and the adjustable resources are used to realize peak shaving and valley filling of the power grid and to improve the operation efficiency of the power grid. In this paper, four types of demand side load schedulable potential analysis are carried out, including industrial production, building, residential life and emerging load. Combined with the criteria of supply and demand coordination control, a supply and demand coordination scheme with priority to cut off adjustable load is proposed, which can achieve peak load cutting and valley filling with minimum control cost.
