An Orderly Charging Control Strategy for Electric Bus

Under the background of dual-carbon, a large number of large-capacity electric buses are connected to the grid for charging, and the peak superposition of charging load brings significant heavy overload operation risk to the urban power grid, which is difficult to upgrade in time. To solve this problem, considering the social service nature and charging scenario of electric operating vehicles, this paper first proposed the concept of electric bus charging system integrating photovoltaic, energy storage and charging facilities, and then took the minimum current at the entrance of the electric bus charging system as the optimization goal, and the light-storage operation of the electric bus charging system and the operating state of the electric bus as the constraints. The electric bus-energy storage joint control model is constructed. Finally, a simulation example is used to verify the effectiveness of the strategy proposed in this paper. The highly energy self-sufficiency of the electric bus charging system reduces the heavy overload operation risk of the distribution network, improves the operation efficiency of the power grid, and reduces the operating cost while ensuring the normal operation of the traffic system.
