Research on optimization of PEMFC cooling system based on PID control algorithm

As one of the important components of new energy vehicles, fuel cell vehicles have received more and more attention in recent years. However, temperature is very important for the safe and efficient operation of fuel cells. In this paper, the PID control optimization design is carried out for the PEMFC cooling system, so that the cooling system is more compatible with PEMFC, and the working temperature of the stack is closer to the optimal working temperature of PEMFC. The model’s results demonstrate that the temperature difference fluctuation of the optimized stack is 2.58°C, which is reduced by 3.44°C compared to the stack temperature fluctuation under the traditional cooling system.
