Design of an Intelligent English Education Ability Evaluation System Based on HMM Algorithm

There are many shortcomings in the application process of the current intelligent English education ability evaluation system. Therefore, this article proposed the design of an intelligent English education ability evaluation system based on HMM (Hidden Markov Model) algorithm. Firstly, the overall architecture of the system was designed according to the educational ability evaluation process, and an intelligent English education ability evaluation system was developed based on HMM algorithm using $\mathrm{C}++$ language; Secondly, according to the system application requirements, hardware resources were configured and connected using USB interfaces and wireless network cards; Finally, based on the Windows environment, C language was adopted for system development. The experimental results indicated that the system can effectively evaluate the level of English education ability and provide accurate teaching plans and scientific teaching basis for English teachers.
