Research on Risk Analysis and Protection of Short URL Security

The popularity of short URL services allows users to compress long URLs into short URLs, making it easier to share and spread. This article analyzes the security risks of short URL services, demonstrates their existence through experimental design, and proposes a short URL security protection system from both server and client perspectives. It ensures user security through malicious link detection tools, deployment of WAF, and improves the security and stability of the short URL service platform through the design and optimization of short URL service algorithms. This article takes technical design as the background, and uses preview link tools and WAF application firewalls to ensure the security of short URL applications on the user end, effectively reducing the spread of malicious links and phishing websites. Through optimization of short URL algorithms, algorithm conflicts on the client end are solved. Through the analysis of short URL security risks and research on defense solutions, short URLs are effectively protected to avoid the infringement of malicious links.
