A Method for Solving the Control Boundary of Industrial Park Type Virtual Power Plants Considering Power Network Constraints

To develop a new power system with new energy as the core, leveraging flexible regulatory resources on the load side for grid regulation is essential. Industrial parks with high-energy loads like electrolytic aluminum and ore furnaces show significant regulatory potential. However, precise control boundary solutions in these parks face challenges due to high variable dimensionality and nonlinear constraints, as current methods struggle with balancing computational efficiency and accuracy. This paper abstracts these issues into solving the projection problem of high-dimensional nonlinear state space onto the P-Q coupling plane. It establishes a model that considers both linearization and nonlinear constraints for safe operation in industrial parks, using a novel high-dimensional state space projection algorithm with a two-step vertex “search mapping” solution process. The method's results, fully representable by linear inequalities and compatible with existing scheduling systems, demonstrate its feasibility and superiority in terms of accuracy and efficiency compared to traditional methods and flexible resource control.
