The primary motivation behind adding these additional subtopics is to provide a more recent description of e-learning in this area. Micro-credentials, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, big data, blended, mobile, and cloud e-learning, the Internet of Things, gamification, and online video will be analyzed as emerging technologies in online education. The purpose of this research is to provide clarity around the idea of online education. E-learning also emphasizes expanding students' horizons.
