Research and Simulation of High-Precision Solar Tracking Algorithm

The selection of a high-precision solar tracking algorithm is particularly crucial for enhancing the efficiency of solar energy generation systems. In this study, Taking Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, as an example, compile and model simulation using the high-precision algorithm proposed in this paper on the MATLAB platform. The results demonstrate that compared to commonly used algorithms such as the Cooper Declination Angle Equation and the Boueges Equation for Solar Time, the hybrid optimization solar tracking algorithm proposed in this paper exhibits lower computational complexity. Additionally, it yields smaller errors in the calculation of solar altitude and azimuth angles, thereby enhancing the accuracy of solar tracking.
