Performance Evaluation of DFIG Grid Connected System Using Hysteresis Current Controller

The increase in demand for electrical energy and constraints towards production of carbon dioxide has dragged the attention of many power researchers to develop and integrate wind energy harvesting system with the conventional power grid. The increase in interconnection of all these renewable energy resources will also create power quality issues and challenges for easy operational point of view. The rising interconnection of hybrid systems such as solar PV and DFIG also creates an uncontrolled coordinated system among the relays. A perfect grid interconnection requires control, of both current control loop and voltage control loop in such a manner that the coordination among grid side controller and source side controller must be maintained.in this paper an attempt has been made to design hysteresis based current control technique using MATLAB Simulink model. The result and comparative analysis have been carried out to showcase the robustness of the proposed controller.
