This study looked into how ML might affect a bank's risk management practices. Essentially, the study showed how machine learning techniques increased the forecast accuracy of risk management models. The techniques therefore performed better than the traditional statistical models. They lessened the negative consequences of sample biases associated with conventional statistical methods.
