Internet of Things (IoT) & Health Care Sector: A Techno-Legal Challenges in India

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of interconnected devices that can detect, perform actions, and exchange information with each other and the surrounding environment. These items are generally known as smart devices or intelligent gadgets. The primary goal of integrating intelligent technology is to improve the overall quality of life for individuals. In the healthcare sector, the Internet of Things (IoT) plays a key role in improving the quality of healthcare infrastructure, diagnostic processes, and creating intelligent environments. However, smart healthcare systems have considerable challenges in terms of data security and privacy. Unfortunately, the system is affected by security vulnerabilities in both the medical device software and the hardware. A variety of techniques are used to ensure, get access to, and efficiently manage IoT devices with the highest level of security. Furthermore, the system requires the utilization of sensors, surveillance, strong key confidentiality management, data integrity, and regulated access to sensitive information. This study examines the synergistic effects of combining Internet of Things (IoT) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to streamline operations in the healthcare business. This article addresses the emerging privacy problems and examines the current state of Indian legislation in response to these challenges. India must overhaul its present structure to align with the increasingly adopted new technology in the healthcare sector.
