Model Order Reduction of Linear Time Invarient System

This study proposes a new technique for reducing the order of higher order linear time-invariant (LTI) systems to their lower order models. The proposed approach combines two model order reduction schemes: Routh Approximation (RA) and Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm (AOA). To validate the effectiveness of this approach, numerous numerical examples of low and high order systems are used. The outcomes demonstrate that the lowered order models obtained by the proposed approach preserve both the transient and steady state conditions of the original system. Furthermore, the performance of the proposed method is compared with several other existing model order reduction approaches. The comparison shows that the proposed method outperforms these techniques, resulting in significantly lower Integral Square Error (ISE).
